Verify before it moves: a free worksheet
A cloned voice on the phone. A convincing email from a supplier. A request to change bank details, today. The fake is rarely the clever part; the request itself looks ordinary.
This one page worksheet, taken from the Intermediate course, helps you decide in advance which requests always get checked, write down the numbers you will call back on before you need them, and set a verification rule that applies to everyone in the business. Print it, fill it in, and pin it where payments get made.
The worksheet is free and needs no email address.
The full module on impersonation and verification is part of AI Security at Work (NZ), the Intermediate course. If the money has already gone, start with what to do in the first hour.
To practise the whole thing with your team, try Practice a leak, a free 30 minute tabletop exercise.
